Supervision and Evaluation at Trincomalee Town and Gravets Divisional Secretariat
A team led by the District Secretary of Trincomalee, Mr. W.G.M. Hemantha Kumara, visited the Trincomalee Town and Gravets Divisional Secretariat on 13/01/2026 to carry out supervision and evaluation activities. During the visit, extensive discussions were held with officers regarding the administrative functions of the Divisional Secretariat, the status of public service delivery, ongoing development projects, and the needs of the general public.
In addition, responsible officers visited each section of the Secretariat to conduct evaluations and to identify strengths and shortcomings. The District Secretary also personally inspected both the internal premises and the external surroundings of the Divisional Secretariat. Based on the evaluation carried out, the District Secretary highlighted the observed strengths and weaknesses and provided necessary instructions to promptly address the identified shortcomings.
